February 4, 2007 "Christ, Our ‘Bread Of Presence’ In Our Father’s
Temple" (Vision) **** The Bread: My eyes were closed, and I heard Jesus say to take the bread of His Body into my mouth and to chew. As I did this, Jesus caused me to see that I was actually taking Christ’s communion with our Father. He {Jesus} said, as I ate the wafer, that the other members in His Body were one with me/Him in my mouth. He then said to see them pressed against our Father’s breast/bosom while still in my mouth. He said this was feeding His people, my brothers and sisters, at our Father’s breast. I realized that we are given our Father’s eternal life force as members in "Christ’s ONE Body", and that this is given to us by our Father Himself. Previous to this lesson I understood that we were taking communion with Jesus as His disciples did, but never realized that each time we take communion we spiritually take it with , and in the presence of, our Father. This is what this vision and teaching is about. God has reminded me that the Passover meal, later known as Christ’s last supper and/or communion, was taken by the Hebrews prior to Jesus’ death and resurrection. God has also reminded me that Christ, as our High Priest, made Himself the sacrifice SO THAT WE COULD enter into the Holy of Holies and (1)"commune" with our Father. Because of Christ, this gift no longer belongs to the High Priest alone, nor are we limited to one time a year. We can, and should, enter into the Holy of Holies {the Most Holy} and be eternally in our Father’s Spiritual presence. The Wine/Grape Juice: As members in Christ’s Body we are accepted by our Father, but we are also taken before the Father for His acceptance. This process can be compared to a priest, under the High Priest, in the Old Testament Temple service. The priests maintained the "Bread of Presence" positioned outside the veil, between the Holy of Holies {where our Father resided/sat} and the congregation; and the Priests ministered to our Father. Now, having been washed and baptized in Christ’s blood, we stand in the Holy of Holies ministering to our Father; and we do this (3)as Priests, serving under our High Priest, Christ Jesus, as we take communion with God our Father. Because of Christ’s righteous sacrifice, as our substitute and as our High Priest, (4)the veil between the Holy of Holies and Christ’s congregation, His Bride, has been removed. In God’s spiritual reality, our Father is the Holy of Holies. We all have gone behind/through the veil and stand in the "Presence" of our Father every time we take Christ’s communion; and we are literally partaking in the final sacrifice, who is Christ Jesus. It is at this point that our Father accepts us as His children, and literally feeds us at His breast, or bosom. This is one of the reasons our Father removed the veil between Himself and His congregation. Bread Of Presence: The New Unger's Bible Dictionary tells us the "Table of the Bread of the Presence, or showbread" was known as the "table of the face,’ i.e., of Jehovah..." The bread placed upon the table (Heb. "bread of the Presence") was made of fine wheat flour (unleavened), baked in twelve loaves (cakes)... were to be eaten by the priests exclusively (and that in the sanctuary only {Christ is our Sanctuary <Jn 2:21; Eph 2:20>}, and were then replaced by fresh loaves... To each pile of loaves (*)incense was added, probably placed in bowls beside the bread, for "a memorial portion for the bread, even an offering made by fire to the LORD {our Father}" (Lev 24:5-9). [NOTE (*): {incense} Lk 1:9-11, Rev 8:3-4; {aroma} 2 Cor 2:16, Eph 5:2, Php 4:18] The utensils belonging to the table were these: the dishes for the showbread; pans or spoons... for the incense; jugs or jars... which, as they were used for making libations, were doubtless for wine..." God said to Moses in Exodus 19:5-6, "Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel." [NKJV] Yahweh promised, through Moses, to form both His kingdom and holy nation with priests who obey His voice. In Revelations 1:5-6 John boldly says that we are already "kings and priests to Yahweh" through the blood of Jesus Christ: "... To Him {Jesus Christ} who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father..." [Rev 1:5-6]. Christ’s blood and Yahweh’s Holy Spirit, separate us into Yahweh’s "Kingdom of priests and a holy nation". Though Christ is the final sacrifice for the sins of mankind <Matt 26:28-29; Heb 9:22>, Yahweh has continued commanding his people to make sacrifices and offerings <(ie) Heb 13:15, Phil 4:18 etc> to Him throughout all generations. Examples of the Old Testament sacrifices include the "burnt", "peace", "heave", "grain and drink", "guilt", "peace"... offerings. In all generations the offerings were instituted by Yahweh to "edify" and "lift up" His people. A Peace Offering: There were three kinds of peace offerings: (a) thank offerings in response to an unsolicited special divine blessing; (b) votive (vowed) offerings in pursuit of making a request or pledge to God; and ©) freewill offerings spontaneously presented in worship and praise.... Keil observes: ‘In consecrated character imparted to the whole victim by assigning the choicest portions of the flesh to the LORD and the officiating priest, the sacrificial feast was transformed into a covenant feast, a feast of love and joy, which symbolized the privilege of dwelling in the house and family of the LORD, and so shadowed forth the rejoicing of his people before him (Deut 12:12,18) and the blessedness of eating and drinking in the kingdom of God’ (Luke 14:15; 22:30) (Arch., 1:330)." Jesus and our Father have taught me the following regarding Christ’s communion: 1. The "veil", or separation, between God our Father and Christ’s congregation has been removed through Christ the final sacrifice for sin. 2. Because this veil has been removed we are allowed, and EXPECTED, to enter into "communion" with God our Father. He is our Father BECAUSE of Christ’s sacrifice. 3. As we stand before our Father, in His Presence, we are both able to hear and speak with Him. This is the foremost reason He has given us His Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit that spoke through God’s holy prophets, at one time, has now been given to all of God’s children. His voice and holy presence within us causes our transformation into the image of God. God is Spirit. When we are reborn, the Spirit who is holy takes up His residence in us. Everyone who acknowledges Christ as the Son of God and as their personal Savior has access to their Father through His Holy Spirit. We have become both the legitimate Sons of God our Father, and Christ’s Wife, through Christ Jesus. The Bible tells us that: [Deut 23:2; NKJV] "One of illegitimate birth shall not enter the assembly of the LORD... [Heb 12:7-11; NKJV] "If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it." Rev 19:6-8; NKJV] "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints." I know of no better way to receive "chastisement" from God than to hear His voice. I have personally been chastised on more than one occasion, and thank and praise God that I have. 5. Through Christ’s blood, Christ’s Body members are "offered", and have been "offered", to our Father as a "Peace Offering", an ETERNAL "love feast", AND covenant. In the past, this may have been with, or without, our full understanding. We call this "communion". Our Father has accepted Christ’s Body members as "Christ’s Bride/Wife/Church and His Holy nation of Priests", because of Christ! Christ’s sacrifice was once and for all, but it is to be celebrated by you, and your spiritual Father and family, as often as God leads you to do so. For years, God has told me to take communion daily. 6. Through our full understanding of this "COVENANT" and "love feast" God produces, and gives us a new level of Joy. Because Christ understood why He endured the cross, He received this same Joy <Heb 12:2>, and the Joy of the Lord is our strength <Neh 8:10>. This Joy comes from our Father’s acceptance of us, Christ’s Bride, Wife, Church <Eph 5:25-27>; and it is spiritually produced as each believer celebrates Christ’s gift with our Father during Christ’s communion. Communion should be a time of great celebration. We must offer up Joy-Full "Thank" and "Praise" offerings to our Father BECAUSE He has accepted Christ as our substitute {for sin}. Because He accepted Christ as the final sacrifice, we are also "accepted as family" in God’s presence. 7. Remember (5)Cain and Abel? One’s "sacrifice" was acceptable and the other’s wasn’t. There has never been a time, on the face of the earth, when all sacrifices were acceptable to God. He has always maintained the right to "accept" and celebrate" a sacrifice, or reject the sacrifice. Our Father, through Christ’s blood and righteousness, has judged the members "in Christ" as an "acceptable" "offering, mate, woman, bride, and finally "Wife" for His Son Christ Jesus <Rev 19:6-10; Eph 5:25-27>, because we are in Christ who is the acceptable sacrifice. Praise God! **** (1) "commune": "To converse intimately; exchange thoughts and feelings. 2. To receive the Eucharist; Intimate conversation; communion [Middle English: to distribute, share, communicate]" (American Heritage Dictionary)[NOTE: God is the Word, and He reproduces using "verbal intercourse", as we in the physical reproduce using "physical intercourse".] (2) "communion": "A possessing or sharing in common; participation. 2. A sharing of thoughts or feelings; intimate talk. 3. A religious or spiritual fellowship... 4. ... the consecrated elements of the Eucharist." (American Heritage Dictionary)[NOTE: God is the Word, and He reproduces using "verbal intercourse", as we in the physical reproduce using "physical intercourse".] (3) "as Priests under our High Priest Christ Jesus.":There are numerous verses in the Old Testament that confirm that the Priests "ministered" to God our Father <Ex 28:41, Lev 7:35, Num 3:3, Ne 10:36...> . I have referenced only a few, but if you would like to see more you can use the Bible index, Old Testament, under the word "minister" and begin to research this yourself. You’ll have a lot of fun. [Ex 19:5-6] "Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel." [Rev 1:5-7] "To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. [NKJV] [Rev 5:9-10] "You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth." [NKJV] [Rev 20:6] "Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years." [NKJV] (4) "the veil between the Holy of Holies and Christ’s congregation, His Bride, has been removed": "Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. [Matt 27:51-53; NKJV](5) "Cain and Abel? One’s "sacrifice" was acceptable and the other’s wasn’t": Cain’s sacrifice was not "blood", whereas Jesus and Abel offered our Father a "blood sacrifice". As we know "...almost all things are purified with blood , and without shedding of blood there is no (5a)remission {freedom, pardon}." [Heb 9:22; NKJV](5a) "remission": Strong’s Concordance defines the New Testament word translated as "remission": "aphesis ... freedom; (figuratively) pardon".You will want to read the following Visions and Teachings together: February 4, 11, 16, 17, 18 and Updates and Summery.]
