as “Christ’s First Love Letter To Chris”
Before dawn, in 1988, I sat alone in our truck waiting for my husband. I was forty-two years old. Though I had been a Christian since the age of sixteen, I had only taken my commitment to God seriously during the previous one to two years. I studied the Bible daily, but hadn’t heard or read God’s teachings with regards to His Holy Spirit, our resurrection, or Christ’s one Body; nor had I read the numerous Bible scriptures that show God speaking with His Children. I was totally unaware of the fact that God wants to communicate with His Children in every generation, and that He clearly expresses this in His Bible.
As we were traveling throughout the United States my husband and I wrote our expenditures on a small notepad that we kept in our truck. I grabbed this in order to make a note on a topic that I wanted to research in the Bible later. As I put the pen to the paper, I heard Jesus Christ speak through His Holy Spirit within me; thus, I wrote down the following love letter.
I literally fell in love with Him as I experienced His immense love for both me and His one Body of Believers. I also felt His tremendous hurt as He said to us, “You are failing to hear Me because you cry and don’t listen. I’m screaming to Comfort you and My Love and Words… fall on deaf ears.”
Though I understood very little of Jesus’ teachings that day, and I knew that I could stop writing if I decided to, I continued to write down every word that He said. This was my first Spiritual experience and contact with my living God and I was in awe of His Spiritual Presence. Naturally, I was very anxious to hear His next words.
After Jesus finished speaking, I slowly began to understand what had happened. Later, I would read in John 10:3-5 “…the sheep hear his [Jesus Christ’s] voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” Though I didn’t realize it then, I had recognized Jesus’ voice as He promises in His Bible. It took me many years to truly understand and internalize the magnitude and reality of Christ’s gift.
As you read His letter below, please notice that Jesus continually identifies Himself through both His Name and the Words that He speaks. For me, Christ’s first Love Letter remains emotionally touching and poignant in every way, and I still shed tears as I read it.
Jesus Christ’s First Love Letter
(1988) “Pray for the Resurrection of My Blessed Ones”
“But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.“
(Luke 20:35-36)
Pray for the Resurrection of My Blessed Ones, My very own, saith the Lord, for they are lost. When one does well they all do well as a Body. My Body is perfect and must come together in their perfection as One. The hand that does well does not receive the credit, the whole Body does. As part of My, Jesus’, Body you are one with God, all of God. God receives the credit when any member of His Body beckons to His Word and responds as told.
My people’s ears fall deaf to the Word. They do not love each other as though I am in each of them. How can they be My One Body when they are not of Me for lack of love? Move as one Body, saith the Lord, just as your body moves as one. Can a hand fall alone? Can it exist alone? Can it exist if not fed by the other members of the Body (see 1 Cor. 12:12-26)?
Literally, come together as one. When one does well, all receive the credit for you are one with Me. Go in My Name literally — as one representing Me. No hand can exist without the arm, the arm of the Lord . Go together in peace and love now. Uphold and uplift each other. Put aside your “self” and we will merge as one. We are one, saith the Lord. Move for Me on the earth.
Work with and for Me, and not yourselves. Where are those who love Me first, you selfish ones? We must work together and now is the time. Come together in one accord in all matters: Spirit, Soul, and Body (see Phil. 2:1-4). Indifferences must fall away. I must come first. Love Me and all else is agape, saith the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
P.S. I love you. I love My people more than they can comprehend, more than it is possible for them to see or feel. Why do they love Me so little? Why are they faithless: without faith? I am the Life for which they seek, saith the Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us be one eternally. Feel Me in you. I am you. You are literally My Body on earth. Go forth in My Name, for you are truly renamed Jesus [within My Body]. I am the only Jesus Christ of Nazareth, but I have given you My Name, My Love, and My Power. Use them. My works depend on your love for Me — shown toward each other. Go in My Name. We are one with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. You are “the Body” on this planet. Go in My Name and do those things the Word commands, but do them in love.
Without love, agape, all else will fail. Without love in Me, I cannot reach you. Have faith and love (same word and meaning when said by Jesus) in Me. I am the Healer, the Provider, and the Eternal Love that you all search for.
You are failing to hear Me because you cry and don’t listen. I’m screaming to Comfort you and My Love and Words (same meaning) fall on deaf ears. You are no longer of this world (see John 17:9-19). Why do you fret and waste each day away? You are lonely and afraid because you choose to be. With love, agape, all things are possible; and I am Love. Stand in faith — as one Body of love — and I will move and the world will know My Presence and Power (see 1 John 4:8; Eph. 4:11-16).
These are My Days, saith the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. My days are love for Mine very own people. You are Mine babes in My arms. I’ll hold you above the world in Love, Joy, and Peace always and forever.
Have faith in Me and My Name, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Christ Jesus in Heaven. Hallelujah. Now praise thy LORD God. Rejoice in My coming and in My Days, for I am here with you — in you. We are One together always. Love Abound! Amen.
[END]
It is now 2024. During the last THIRTY-EIGHT years I have often compared Christ’s words written through me to numerous Bible scriptures such as: 1 Corinthians 12:1-31; Ephesians 4:1-6; 1 Corinthians 1:11 through 3:23; 1 Corinthians 11:17-32, and many more. God has convinced me that He has spoken the same teachings in His first love letter and the Bible. I find this to be true with all that He writes through me.
I only heard Jesus’ Spiritual voice twice in the months following His initial visit. Both times He softly whispered through His Holy Spirit, “I love you.” Obviously, this is not something I would say to myself. Within a very short time, I realized that Christ had spoken to me again and that His voice was more personal and intimate than the first time.
Approximately one year later I received the wonderful book God Calling from my mother. It was difficult for me to put it down and I read it several times. I recognized Jesus’ heart and loving nature as He spoke His thoughts through these two Christian women in the late 1930s. I also felt a close connection to His “Two Listeners.” I longed to hear Jesus’ voice again, and I desperately wanted to have daily conversations with Him as they did.
In the introduction of God Calling the “Two Listeners” briefly outlined their own quest to hear Jesus. Following their example, I rose early one morning and went into our living room with a pen and paper in hand. I considered myself very brave, and was somewhat skeptical and embarrassed as I asked out loud, “Jesus, If I come daily to meet and listen to You, will You speak and write through me every day as You did the two ladies in God Calling? He lovingly wrote, “Yes, and I wish that all of My Children would do this because it causes them to hear Me more clearly.” I immediately knew Christ’s voice as He spoke to me from within. It was as if I had known Him forever. Gratefully, I expressed my desperate need to hear Him and I made my commitment to meet with Him every day and listen.
Several months later Jesus asked me to begin studying the audio cassettes offered by a well-known television Evangelist, Kenneth Copeland. These cassette sets provided in-depth Bible studies that were specifically prepared for those interested in becoming a Pastor, or in having their own ministry. I remember being both delighted and shocked as the numerous cases of cassettes arrived.
Jesus and I spent every available minute studying together during the next four years. He added His own thoughts and instruction to each study as I listened to the cassettes. At the end of the four years He told me that we would not be using the cassettes any longer. Jesus said that He had become my personal teacher (see John 6:45; 1 John 2:27). He also told me to organize and lead our first Bible Study class. It was the first of many to come.
Around this time, Jesus also asked me to purchase a computer and a Bible software package which included various versions, or translations, of the Bible; and numerous reference books, Bible dictionaries and concordances etc. Jesus continued to use these tools for study, reference, and confirmation; however, it was His Holy Spirit’s voice that led me into a new understanding of the Bible and God. I began to see Christ’s reality within me and my heart and mind slowly began to change in nature. I cannot over emphasis the importance of continued Bible study and confirmation after you begin to hear God’s voice.
In 1996 God told me to begin publishing His love letters on my own website: God’s Word. At that time the internet was brand new to the general public and was nothing like it is today. It had a very negative reputation. Our website, along with the few other Christian sites, became God’s Light in an extremely dark place.
About a year and a half later Jesus increased the website and added Bible studies, articles, prophecies, and visions to His daily love letters. Soon seven others, including my husband, sister, and brother-in-law joined my website family. Throughout this time, Jesus continued as my personal teacher and began to teach others through me. Through the internet I met many of my Spiritual sisters and brothers from all over the world. It was as if God removed the walls of division previously established by mankind: nationalities, countries and their governments, religions, gender, wealth, race… During the next six years we all received a new sense of God’s coming freedom.
In 2001 Jesus asked us to close this website, and I spent the next five wonderful years in love and fellowship with my family. My sister, her husband, my husband, and I became extremely close while we continued to serve God together. This love was one that I had not experienced in years, if ever. I’m so very grateful for the abundance of love that was shared among my precious family members during this time. Thank You Lord Jesus!
In 2006, just before things began to change throughout the world, our Father took three members of my family home within a five month period. These resurrections left me alone and without any of my immediate earthly family members. I would not have recovered without Christ’s love and constant voice. I became dependent upon Him for all things. Because of this, I made a new and much more serious commitment to Him and His people; and He caused me to become stronger and bolder in Him and for Him.
Shortly after my family’s resurrection, and upon Christ’s request, a new website was opened under my name, Christine Williams Ministry; it remains open in 2024 Today, I am so thankful that I am allowed to assist Christ as He continues to lead His Children into His daily intimacy and personal conversations. The number of His Children blessed in this way increases daily, and they continue to come from all over the earth.
You do not have to be perfect in order to hear Christ’s voice. In fact, just the opposite is true. God has given us His Holy Spirit, His loving voice, in order to lead us into His perfection. The joy of hearing your Savior’s, your Friend’s voice daily is beyond human expression. I urge you to make the same commitment to Christ that I did years ago. Come daily and enter into His Presence. Ask Him for His voice and then listen. This is one way we make our daily eternal committment to Him. He is literally waiting for you!
Though each morning is a very special time, Jesus and I continue to have conversations off and on all day, every day, whether I have a pen and paper handy or not. We are friends and I consider Him my best friend. I know that our time together is my blessing from Him.
[Christ’s Love Letters, is a collection of letters written during our daily morning get-togethers, and they were personally chosen for this book by Christ Himself. They truly are His love letters to you!
God’s Holy Spirit chose the scriptures for each of Christ’s Love Letters after the letter was written. This includes His first one, above. Jesus wrote several of these letters in order to educate and edify, as well as lovingly embrace.
I am but one member in Christ’s multi-membered Body (see Rom. 12:4-5; 1 Cor. 12:12-26). Therefore, when Christ calls me His Wife, Bride, Beloved, Child, Little One, Prayer Warrior… He is addressing you by that name of endearment also.
Jesus has explained His interjection of “Amen” as follows: Amen is a seal upon His Word as He speaks and writes through me. When it appears in triplet it is the seal and signature, the stamp of approval, agreement, and confirmation of God’s Truth from all three members of God’s Trinity. Though they are always in one accord, this manifests their agreement for their Children’s benefit.
Strong’s Concordance defines the Old Testament Hebrew word translated as “amen” as: “… faithfulness … truly …” This word comes from the Hebrew word “… aman… to build up or support; to foster as a parent or nurse …”
Though He doesn’t always do this, Christ will occasionally claim His creation, especially people, using the word “Mine” rather than “My.” In this manner, He claims to Himself that which He is discussing. We read this in His first love letter, “Pray for the Resurrection of Mine.” In it He said, “My days are love for Mine very own people. You are Mine babes in My arms.”
