Christ’s Blood Speaks Eternal Life As You Take Communion/Eucharist – Take It Often!

(1 Cor 11:24-26)
When Jesus had given thanks, “He broke the bread and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death [for you] till He comes. 

The following are two of my favorite scriptures in the Bible. Together they have literally changed my life. I pray they do the same for you. Our Lord told me at least thirty-one (31) years ago, during prayer, to take Communion daily with Him (at home). This in no way eliminates taking it with Him and His other Children in church.

Within the last three years, I was taught to repeat the following two scriptures as I take Communion/Eucharist. I say, as I lift the cup of my Savior, “Christ’s blood speaks better things than Abel’s” (Heb 12:24); and “the Words that I [Jesus] speak are Spirit and they are life: eternal life (John 6:63).”

(Heb 12:22-24)
But you [God’s Children] have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly [New] Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn [Jesus] who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect [thru Christ], to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. 

(John 6:63)
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I [Jesus] speak to you are Spirit, and they are [eternal] life. 

Two facts: Jesus’ blood speaks, thus Jesus can and does speak through His blood which is the one Spirit; and because every Word that Jesus speaks is Spirit, Christ’s Word brings us [eternal] Life.

Though I do not repeat the next scripture as I take Communion every morning, it adds to our understanding of what Jesus wants from us and for us. Notice, below, that Jesus is giving us what His Father gave Him!  It’s all our’s to share – He shares everything with us.  He told me that I was to teach this to as many who would see and hear this morning.
By the way, we are in the “LAST DAY” now.

(John 6:53-58)
Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the LAST DAY. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides [lives] in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. This is the bread which came down from heaven — not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”
